Mönchengladbach, 25 April 2024 - parkoneer, the specialist for dynamization and digital management of private parking spaces in the office parking sector, is increasingly relying on service and support solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI). At the Hannover Messe (April 22 - 26, 2024), the Mönchengladbach-based company is presenting its Gen AI chatbot as the first result of its collaboration with software developer GFT Technologies and Google Cloud. As an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), it is intended to support all parking area admins in using the parkoneer solution.

parkoneer improves the utilization of private parking spaces by making them more dynamic. The starting point is the consideration that, for example, company parking spaces are only used at certain times, on certain days and by certain parkers. However, if several parking permits are issued for one and the same space, this increases utilization. parkoneer achieves this goal through access control with license plate recognition and a web-based admin and booking portal that the companies manage themselves. parkoneer is part of the Scheidt & Bachmann Parking Solutions product portfolio, a global leader in smart parking for decades and a provider of innovative parking management solutions. 

To further develop this solution, parkoneer is cooperating with well-known players such as GFT Technologies and Google Cloud. "We are specifically focusing on AI and have now realized our first joint project with the Gen AI chatbot. We consider AI technologies to be particularly suitable for providing our service partners, customers and their admins with competent support as quickly as possible," continues Krahwinkel.

Gen AI has now successfully passed the proof of concept stage. Parkoneer and GFT Technologies are currently working on an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), which is being tested on the market. 

The first live application of the Gen AI chatbot answers questions in parkoneer's customer portal that arise during the software application as text, graphics or videos. The focus is on natural communication and the most concrete, unambiguous answers possible - the latter is supported by linking the application with Dialogflow and Conversation AI.
